Tomás Vieira

Tomás Vieira (Portugal, 1998) is a passionate lover of art, cinema and music. He likes to paint to the sound of music, the succession of sounds is his inspiration for artistic doodles and compositions. The colors are inspired by the musical decades he listens to, each decade has its aesthetic, for Tomás the 60’s are a red ball, the 70’s are gray, the 80’s are purple, the 90’s are green, the 2000’s are white and from 2010 are Neon colors.
Vieira has a keen sense of humor and appreciates the simplicity of life. He criticizes the growing rate of plastic production. Family and friends are his haven.
His favorite artists are: Van Gogh and Andy Warhol and his favorite bands are: Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Talking Heads.
He is currently attending the “OficINa – Arte Bruta Inclusiva”, an artistic studio at the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health of the District Hospital of Santarém, Portugal.
