Varela, Jorge

Jorge Varela (Allariz, Ourense, 1971) is a visual artist, Phd and BA in History for the University of Vigo and Master in Art and Contemporary critic for the University of Santiago de Compostela. From 2009 to 2010 he worked as a research fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. His work has been exhibited in MACUF, A Coruña (Museum of Contemporary Art Union Fenosa) Eugenio Granell Foundation in Santiago de Compostela, Casa de Vacas in Madrid, Asbach Kloster Museum in Asbach (Germany), King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center at NYU (USA).
