Ymène Chetouane

Born in 1980, Ymène Chetouane graduated in Ceramics from École d’Art et de Décoration in 2006. Since 2007 she has participated in numerous residencies and exhibitions, namely at Galerie Le Violon Bleu and Galerie El Gorgi, both located in Tunisia, and at Galerie Talmart, in Paris. Chetouane’s work is marked by the dichotomy between the grotesque and the hybridization of the figures and the fragility of materials such as ceramics and porcelain.
